A Note To Parents
936 weeks. That’s how long childhood lasts.
That’s how much time we have from the time a baby is born until that baby is a legal adult. It seems like a lot of hours to fill. And yet it seems like not nearly enough.
It’s often been said that parenting is far and away the hardest – but most rewarding! – job you’ll ever do. And that’s true. Imparting a lifetime of knowledge, skills, values, and fun in the span of those 936 weeks is not easy. But we want you to know that you’re doing great. We see your children every week. And through them, we get to see you. Sure, we see the effort it takes to make sure your children are present… But what stands out to us, far more than the thinly-veiled chaos of a family-wide morning routine, is the love and intentionality you put into your parenting.
We learn so incredibly much from you – watching how you interact. How you love. How you speak. And your kids are thriving! They are loving, compassionate, and playful. They have big thoughts, big emotions, and above all, huge hearts. We promise you, you’re doing a better job than you realize.
We are honored to be a part of your children’s spiritual journeys. Thank you for allowing us into your lives and families; our prayer is that the resources here will sow into your hearts as richly as you already sow into ours.
