What do I do if I cannot log into my giving account?
Email [email protected] to have a temporary password sent to your email address.
What's the most convenient way to give?
Recurring giving via ACH is the most convenient way to give. It just takes a few minutes to set up, and your giving will automatically be sent to Liberty Church on the recurring schedule you set. Click here to set up recurring giving.
How do I edit my scheduled giving?
To edit your scheduled or recurring giving, log in to Pushpay.com and at the top right side of the page you will see your “Recurring gifts”. Click on “Edit” and you will be able to change the amount, the frequency, payment method or the timing of your gifts, or to pause or cancel your scheduled giving.
How do I view my giving record or download a giving statement?
Your giving record is held in your profile on the church database (CCB). Both your Pushpay online giving and in-service giving is included in your giving record. Your first time accessing CCB will require creating a login. Choose a campus (what we would call your Community) and follow the directions. You will be emailed a link to activate your account. Once you have logged into CCB, click on your name in the upper right of the page to access your settings. From the drop-down, click on “Profile”. Just under your personal information is a menu, and “Financial” is the rightmost menu item. Click on “Financial” and you’ll see your most recent transactions, and you also will see a box for “Printable statements”. Click on “Giving Statements” and from here you can select whether it is just for you or your entire family, the date range, etc. Finally, when you click on “Run Report”, you will get a report of giving for the date range you selected that you can print or save digitally.
What's the difference between the Tithe and the Offering?
The tithe is 10% of our income, that in Malachi 3:8-10, God instructs us to bring back to Him. Offerings are contributions that are given over and above the tithe – from a generous and faithful heart responding to God (2 Corinthians 9:11, 1 Timothy 6:17–19).
It is important to understand, however, that giving to the church—whether tithe or offering— is used to maintain, grow, and provide for the local church community.
Can I designate my offering to something specific?
- Offering – Liberty City Inc: A separate 501(c)3 charity that enables each community of Liberty Church to transform their neighborhoods through meeting needs and serving people.
- Offering – Liberty Foundation (formerly Seed Fund): A separate 501(c)3 charity for planting local churches globally.
- Offering – Missionary Support (Missionary Name): Financial giving that supports one of our missionaries serving around the world.
How can I minimize the processing fees to the church for my giving?
We encourage givers to use ACH/bank transfer rather than credit cards. The single best way to reduce fees is to give using an automated transfer from your bank by ACH, for which we pay a very small transaction fee. While we have very favorable fees on credit and debit cards, giving $100 on a card would have transaction fees that are quadruple a bank ACH. A $1,000 gift would have transaction fees 35 times as much as a bank ACH.
What is Liberty Church's Privacy Policy?
Your information is held securely by the Church Community Builder system. This information will remain private and will never be given away to third parties, other than to process your scheduled contributions.
You can schedule new contributions at any time and can modify or cancel those contributions at any time prior to the date they are scheduled. Once the contribution has been processed, however, it cannot be cancelled.
Can I give a large donation online?
Yes, you may make large donations online, but we suggest that you consider giving via bank wire or ACH to minimize transaction fees, and maximize the reach of generosity. Please email [email protected] for instructions on wiring donations.
Can my company match my giving?
Yes, some companies can and will match your donations to Liberty Church. If your company is not able to match a donation to a church, please consider having your donation matched through Liberty Foundation. You can email [email protected] for how to set up matching donations for either organization.
I am moving to a new Liberty Community. How can I make sure my giving goes to my new community?
If you have a scheduled or recurring giving plan, log in to Pushpay.com and at the top right side of the page, you will see your “Recurring gifts.” If the community noted there is not your current community, click Edit and then Pause your recurring gift. This stops your giving to your former community, and now you will want to set up a scheduled gift to your new community. From libertychurch.com/give, press “Give” and then select your new community and simply follow the instructions to set up a recurring giving plan.
If you give but not using a recurring giving plan, go to libertychurch.com/give, press “Give” and then select your new community and simply give as you normally would. Selecting your new community will designate that give to your new community.
If you give by text, note that each community has its own text keyword to use. Therefore, simply use the keyword for your new community, the dollar amount and press Send.
