In Micah, we are instructed to act justly, love mercy, and to walk humbly with God. In this community group, we will read Just Mercy by Bryan Stevenson and discuss the presence of injustice in the US criminal justice system. We will also act justly by finding opportunities to fight on behalf of those who are oppressed in our neighborhoods. And, there will be brunch! :)
Bible study for anyone who feels called to step into leadership at the Bay Ridge Community. As a launch team, we want to grow strong friendships, build confidence in biblical literacy and sharing our faith, as well as dream and plan together about a Liberty Church community in Bay Ridge.
H3 Leadership by Brad Lomenick uncovers 20 key habits. Who are we (Habits of Self-Discovery, Faith, Convictions, Meekness...)? Where do we want to go (Habits of Ambition, Passion, Bravery, Inspiration...)? How will we get there (Habits of Excellence, Execution, Generosity, Stick-With-It-Ness...)? Also identifying our identity, calling and our assignments in life (this personally helped me drastically). Habits take an idea and convert it into results. ItÕs the New Year! Come lets create and implement these habits in our life allowing Christ to move. Trust me when I say this book will charge you and propel you forward!

We all need someone who gets us. A friend we can call on, someone to pray with us, laugh with us or cry with us. This group is about committing once a week to be known, share life and grow in your faith with women at Liberty Brooklyn.
You're warmly invited to join Willa and Emily for some eating, praying and merry-making on Friday evenings. This group brings together a community of folks ages 25-35 from Liberty Church to talk God-things, life-things, hangout and pray in Brooklyn Heights. Hope you can join us!

Family Dinner, Values and Beliefs

Some of my best times of experiencing community over my life have included shared meals. A group for anyone who loves Jesus and Jane Austen!
We'll gather to drink tea, watch some classic Jane Austen genius, and let our hair down with friends, while studying from the Jane Austen Devotional together.
Ask yourself: What do you ultimately want? Immediate and temporary gratification that wanes with the passage of time? Or passion and exclusive intimacy that endures and intensifies? We will be reading and discussing Lisa Bevere's Kissed the Girls, and Made Them Cry, where we will, 1. Discover frank, God-empowered answers to hard-hitting question, 2. Put back to sleep what was awakened too soon, 3. Receive God's unhindered forgiveness, and 4. Walk in freedom, power, and purity. This is a book for every daughter in waiting and every woman who has never known desire in her life and marriage.
Many of us make resolutions and plans for the year to start each January, but in most cases, by February/March, the excitement may have already started to wear off. This group is open to anyone who wants to keep the momentum for 2017. Over brunch, we will share our goals and dreams for the year while we encourage, pray, and hold each other accountable so we can continue to press forward and build our faith in community.
